you may feel like you are nothing special.  exceedingly ordinary.  plain.  boring.  another brick in the wall.

you may feel worse than nothing.  you might feel terrible about who you are, about things you cannot change.  things that are welded to your very being.

you may feel that, because of who you are, you are ignored, tolerated, shunned, or hated by others.  perhaps you have been told these things by others.  perhaps you have told these things to yourself.

you may feel lonely.  sad.  scared.  you may wonder whether life is worth living if you must live it like this.

i understand how you feel.  i am in the same position as you are.

that is why i want you to listen.

you are beautiful.

you cannot see it, but to someone, you are special.  to someone else, you are dear.  you are precious.  there is someone out there who who loves you, whose life you have changed for the better just by being you. 

they may not tell you.  they may not even show it.  you may not even know they exist.  but i assure you that they do.

you have a purpose, whether it is for yourself or for someone else.  you just need to find it.
